Lie to Impress

A lot of people lie just to impress
But they don’t realize they have created a mess
Because when you lie to impress someone
You end up loosing that very person you thought you’ve won

As that person learns about the lie
You may have just fell in love but the relationship just died
Lying to impress is not as good as you may think
Because once they’ve found out they will say you stink

No true person wants to be involved in a lie
Because a true person knows that a lie will eventually die
If you have lied once then you will lie again
And a relationship based on lies will eventually end

So why start a relationship with a lie to impress
Then once the person finds out it will be over
Faster than the lady can put on her dress

The best thing to do is tell a person exactly who you are
That is if you want the relationship to grow and go far
But if you don’t care then continue to lie to impress
And you will always end up loosing and stepping in your own mess
