I Almost Lost

I almost lost the woman I love most of all
She is so sweet, my stupidity almost made us fall
Because I was going to leave this good woman behind
The next thing I thought was, am I losing my mind

We have small problems just as most people do
But I had forgotten how she turned my grey skies to blue
The good things about her out-weighed all the bad
And the bad things aren’t crap, she’s the best I ever had

I almost lost her but let the record show
That all we need is to just let the relationship grow
There are some things that time will overcome
If I would just be more patient, our time will come

I’m glad I did not leave this woman in my life
With all hope and prayer she will one day be my wife
Now that I’ve opened my eyes and can see what I’ve got
I’m happy it wasn’t to late, for this relationship is hot

A good person in this lifetime is hard enough to find
But I have found a good woman and she’s already mine
And now I realize what a good woman I have found
No way we can lose this bout, cause we match up pound for pound
