Honesty

Honesty is the best policy for both you and me
It stops all the coverups, so all is true
In all that you say and all that you do
Be honest with yourself and other people too

I’m happy I choose to be honest in my world
It helps to keep the home happy and especially my girl
Telling her the truth has made our life great
I’m glad I choose honesty and now we all can relate

When you’re a dishonest person you forget what is true
Then you must watch what you say and all that you do
Anyone can claim that they’re an honest man
But most have already lied in the best way they can

A dishonest person lives a life of misery
Due to his lies, he has to have a good memory
To remember the thigs he has lied about
But sooner or later the truth will come out

Honesty is the best thing for me
It keeps thing in life comfortable as it should be
I don’t have to hide, and I don’t have to sweat
Because even I know, God isn’t through with me yet
